About Janet:
I have been a nurse for over 25 years and in that time I have learned a lot from my patients and the situations that I have been in and I hope to pass a little of this on. I also have my MSN in Nursing which I acquired from Grand Canyon University in July 2017 in nursing education. Currently I am in psychiatric nursing but I have spent time in correctional nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and long term care.
I also have been married for 38 years ( well, next month) to a wonderful man Michael Memoli. He is a computer consultant and has set up this website for me. I also have three children Erica, Angela and Jonathan. I have two grandchildren Cody and Brianna who are both special needs. I live in Fort Myers, Florida but was born in Schenectady, New York which is near Albany. I belong to Redeemer Lutheran Church and am a Lutheran and occasionally I will state my beliefs. Where I have come from and my belief system is what has shaped my nursing throughout the years. I hope you enjoy my blogs.
